Introduction

What is “Politic’s for Dummys”? It’s politics for you, me, and every other American who has been ignored, lied to, scammed, hood-winked, bamboozled, stepped over, walked on, left in the dust, cheated, deceived, betrayed and victimized. It’s a layman’s view of the impostors, fakers, frauds, pretenders and quacks who call themselves our politicians and claim to represent us. Perhaps they (and we) have forgotten that they actually work FOR us, WE are the bosses, and like every other boss, we expect a certain level of satisfactory job performance. I, for one, am not satisified.

Lesson 1: Before you open your mouth and utter something stupid like “Why do they hate us?” or “They hate our freedom”, do a little research.

Lesson 2: LEARN how your government actually works and, more importantly, how it is supposed to work. Checks and balances are a good thing, not something to be viewed with contempt.

Most of the world is smarter than we are when it comes to American politics. They still separate the American people from the American government (the current administration). They actually know what our foreign policies are and live everyday with the consequences.

Why does George Bush always refer to “MY government”? The American government, as Abraham Lincoln so eloquently defined it, is supposed to be a government of the people, by the people, for the people. Substitute “George” for “people”, and you get a little insight into his ego.

Ignorance can be cured – stupidity can not.

When a Republican mixes up “Obama” with “Osama”, is it really by mistake?

If Silence were golden, we would all be millionaires.
